Eagle Hotel Hindley Street Adelaide 1937 – In Colour – Mouse Mat The Eagle Hotel on the corner of Bank and Hindley Streets, Adelaide in 1937. on the other corner is Flints store and at the end of the street you’ll see the Adelaide Train Station. 1937. The country was coming out of the grip of Depression, but milling clouds of war were converging on Europe, however life in Adelaide was free and simple.
